87 complaints phoned into Montmorency police over week

The Montmorency County Sheriff’s Office fielded a total of 87 complaints over the week.

Once again deputies responded to numerous auto accidents due to slippery and snow-covered roadways.

There were three crashes between animals and cars.

Deputies picked up four people on outstanding warrants.  They were also sent to Hillman around 2 a.m. Sunday on a report of domestic violence.  No arrests were made but one person was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Lewiston Fire and EMS responded to a stove pipe fire at a residence in Albert Township Friday night.  The flames were quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
