Alpena police search for thief/thieves who committed car break ins

The search continues for a thief or thieves who broke into several vehicles in the Alpena area and made off with approximately $2,600 in goods.

The Michigan State Police said all of the larcenies were committed on or after October 23, between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The suspect or suspects were seen leaving the parking lot of Joel’s Guitar Shop in a four-door, dark blue Pontiac Grand Prix.  The car had five-spoke aluminum wheels and a white and blue Michigan license plate.

The long list of stolen items includes: a back up camera viewing screen; a moss green Darton Spectra-E Bow; a red Focusrite Scarlett 1818 amplifier with four ports for headphones; four Audio Technica BPHS1’ broadcast stereo head sets with microphone; Behringer 4 channel stereo headphone amplifier; two black PRO CO 3’ TRSM-TRSM cables; a camo Barnett Crossbow with green and black string, fabric camo case with three orange and green bolts inside; green Ryobi flashlight; two screw drivers; red cloth tackle box with black shoulder strap; three plastic inserts containing approximately $300 in lures; KING trumpet in a black hard case inscribed with the word KING; and a black and green 3100 PSI Ryobi pressure washer.

Anyone with information on the suspect or suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL.  Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for information that assists in solving these crimes.
